DESCRIPTION:In this Insurance Institute of London (IIL) accident webinar\, Richard Lawrence and Michael Salau will discuss the complexities of waste legislation/regulations and how breaches can give rise to a claim under an insurance policy. \nDescription\nThe webinar will also provide an overview of the potential costs associated with these claims and will provide an understanding of how coverage may vary under different types of policy in the market. Richard will focus on two case studies\, both of which relate to claims made under an insurance policy for the illegal importation\, processing or depositing of waste on an insured premise. He will discuss where/how a legal liability attached to the insured party and how the policy responded (or did not as the case may be).
