DESCRIPTION:In this Insurance Institute of London (IIL) marine and energy webinar\, Dr Yuejin Luo and Mike McMahon will explain how recognised experts utilise their technical skills to manage numerous highly complex control of well claims at Charles Taylor Adjusting\, what challenges they face\, and the management skills needed to respond to them. \nSuccessful management of control of well claims requires not only a good understanding of in the insurances involved\, but also an in-depth understanding of the science\, technologies and practices involved in drilling and controlling hydrocarbon wells. \nIn this webinar\, the speakers will explain the basics of both drilling and controlling a well which has become out of control. They will also discuss the differing views on what it means for a well to be ‘Out of Control’.
