SUMMARY:Webinar: Back to the Future - A Look at the Restructured Workplace
DESCRIPTION:This International Underwriting Association (IUA) market briefing focuses on the practical opportunities and challenges of returning to an office environment. The event speakers will provide ideas relating to strategic planning in assisting transition. \nDescription\nBalancing the enormity of a return to the workplace whilst keeping your employees safe is not easy. But\, following the challenge of transitioning and supporting an entire workforce to work from home successfully in an incredibly short space of time\, logistics on how to incorporate those working from home back to the office\, are paramount to employers. \nAs it looks likely that the London Market will embrace a hybrid working model once we are able to return to the City\, this market briefing will focus on the practicality and enhancing productivity in our new ways of working\, business cycles that could impact space requirements and highlight practical and innovative designs and ideas for making best use of available office/working space and adapting to meet these needs post-Covid. \nThe speakers\, experienced in looking at new ways of working\, will discuss visualisation\, harnessing opportunities for improvement and the implementation of a more operationally-resilient future for organisations wishing to return to their offices. They will also include the need for compliance\, with a broader look at how workspace could look in the future. \n \nThe speakers\nHelen Dines\, Director\, r10 Consulting \nHelen Dines leads the Project Delivery team at r10 and has over 20 years experience at insurers\, brokers and service providers and across all classes of business. She has led large and small operational teams and driven and delivered Market Reform initiatives as well as designing and implementing significant internal change and technology programmes and client delivery solutions. Helen has specialised in operational build and transformation\, including operating model design\, technology implementations\, nearshoring\, offshoring and outsourcing. As Operations Lead at a number of large organisations\, she’s built and executed business continuity plans as well as strategic location reviews. \nAnna Woodeson\, Director\, LTS Architects\nAnna Woodeson joined LTS Architects in 2016 as co-Director to help develop the practice. This follows 20 years’ realising award-winning designs\, most recently during more than a decade at Wilkinson Eyre Architects. Her passion for sustainable design in its broadest context has led her both to spearhead green initiatives within practice and in the community and to represent the industry through external engagement. She is on the member’s committee at the UK Green Building Council and was an expert panellist for the Liveable Cities project. Anna lectures on sustainability across the country\, teaches at the Bartlett School of Architecture and mentors for the Construction Industry Council. \n \n\n \n Share this event with your colleagues:\n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Facebook\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Twitter\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n LinkedIn\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Email\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Visit Event Website
