DESCRIPTION:The JRC Offshore Wind Sub-Committee\, which represents the interests of offshore energy underwriters in the Lloyd’s market\, would like to invite you to the Subsea cables & cable protection systems on offshore fixed and floating structures event on Thursday 28 April via Microsoft Teams. \nDescription\nOur speaker  will discuss the following topics: \n\ncable protection systems\nsubmarine cable reliability\nfixed and floating designs\nmonitoring options\ndata analysis.\n\nThe event will outline offshore wind cable protection systems\, their risks\, the current way they predict response and how there is currently no viable way to determine cable health without monitoring. \n \nAttendees will gain a better understanding on the need to provide actual data on existing and new assets and how the monitoring is finding its place within oil and gas as they seek to extend lifetime. \nThis is a joint LMA and IUA event. \nSpeaker\n\nAustin Harbison\, Smart Technology Manager\, CRP Subsea\n\nAudience\nAnyone with an interest in offshore energy business.
