DESCRIPTION:Members’ Private Evening Visit to the College of Arms 2025\nProving incredibly popular last year\, we once again invite members to join us for an exclusive evening at the College of Arms – the official heraldic authority for the United Kingdom\, responsible for the granting of coats of arms\, flags and ceremonial symbols. \nLocated in a 17th-century building on Queen Victoria Street\, the College is a unique City institution with archives going back to the 14th century. \nOur visit will be led by the Somerset Herald – Mark Scott – who will regale the group with the history of heraldry\, the ceremonial role of the heralds\, and the architecture of the building while guests enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink.
