DESCRIPTION:Description\nThe year 2021 was indeed a litmus test of the industry’s endurance! It has been encouraging to see the bravado of the Middle East in opening up sooner than some other markets around the world. The industry has stood the tests of the pandemic and remained grounded and unstoppable! \nMEIR is indeed proud to open nominations for the 9th Middle East Insurance Industry Awards 2022. We are especially looking forward to hosting this year’s awards live in Dubai after two years in the virtual space. We thus expect to see a huge influx of nominations this year. \nWhat is new with the Awards 2022? We are proud to launch a new category – InsurTech of the Year. This category will acknowledge the rise of innovation via new InsurTech companies in MENA. InsurTechs have been changing the landscape of the Middle East insurance ecosystem significantly and we feel it is time to encourage them with an award of their own. \nWe are also introducing a new feature to the final judging process. All company-specific finalists will be given the chance to pitch their case directly to the judges\, via a live stream interview process.
